Some of Joel’s largest verdicts have gained considerable media attention due to the caliber of the defendants he has opposed, including General Motors, Volkswagen, Chrysler, Audi, Ford, United Airlines, The Plaza, Donald Trump’s Taj Mahal, Merv Griffin’s Resorts International, Bally’s Casino, Grecian Formula for Men, and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. Joel also has lectured and participated at moot court trials for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and has co-hosted a weekly television program on legal topics.
